Shape change based on disease

Revealing unexplored differences

Statistical modelling techniques are capable of revealing tissues as 3D surfaces, rather than slices in an MR or CT image, and of combining surfaces for the study of population differences

Modelling produces consistent anatomical landmarks for each person in the study, allowing for the direct study of shape differences between populations. Additionally, the automatic segmentation abilities of Imorphics’ models allow for the analysis of large numbers of datasets. Recently 43,000 knee images were processed and analyzed in a 2-day period.
